Sue Novitsky has been named assistant coach of the University of Illinois women's swimming and diving team after serving as a volunteer assistant the past three years. Illini head coach Jim Lutz announced the appointment Monday.

   CHAMPAIGN  Jim Lutz was eager to work with the Champaign County Aquachiefs. Little did the the University of Illinois coach know how eager the swim club was to have him dive right in.

   The University of Illinois sophomore was in rare form at this weekend''s Big Ten Quad Meet in Minneapolis, swimming to meet records on Friday and Saturday.
