DENVER — Jordan Hilbrands scored her second and third goals of the season to lead the No. 13 Illinois women’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory against No. 18 Colorado on Friday at the DU Invitational.
Hilbrands connected on both of her shot attempts and now is 3 of 6 through two matches. The junior forward broke a scoreless tie in the 31st minute on an assist by Courtney Bell. Hilbrands gave Illinois (2-0) a two-goal lead with an unassisted goal in the second half.
