BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Laura DeBruler had 20 kills and 10 digs, leading No. 6 Illinois to a 25-18, 25-17, 13-25, 26-28, 15-11 Big Ten volleyball victory against Indiana on Friday night.

The Illini (17-3 overall, 9-2 Big Ten) received 50 assists and 15 digs from Hillary Haen. Kylie McCulley chipped in with 16 kills and 10 digs, and teammate Ashley Edinger had 16 digs. Michelle Bartsch recorded 12 kills.

The Hoosiers fell to 14-11, 3-8.

In women's soccer:

Rayfield reaches milestone. Jenna Carosio, Laura Knutson, Niki Read, Christina Sahly and Cory Steigerwald each scored, leading host Illinois to a 5-0 victory against Michigan State.

Brittany Garrett, Marissa Mykines, Knutson, Shayla Mutz and Sahly recorded assists for the Illini, who led 4-0 at halftime.

"Tonight I think it was our confidence in the penalty box. Our forwards were shooting like they were expecting to score instead of hoping to score. In the first 20 minutes we did that and put two in the back of the net, and we were able to relax and go from there," said coach Janet Rayfield, who recorded her 100th victory at Illinois.

"It's nice to have been here that long and have that kind of longevity. It's nice to have those wins, and it's nice to have coached the players I've coached to get those wins."

In men's tennis:

Doubles team victorious. Marek Czerwinski and Abe Souza defeated Wisconsin's Michael Dierberger and Billy Bertha 8-4 at the Big Ten Indoors on Friday in East Lansing, Mich.
