Tisdale adds another USA Basketball invite

Mike Tisdale's participation in a USA Basketball training camp developed into something else: an invitation to another USA Basketball training camp.

There were 20 college players on the select team that trained with and against the national team last week in Las Vegas. Ten of those college guys will practice against the national team in New York City from Aug. 10-16. Tisdale's one of them.

If you can't make it to the Assembly Hall on Saturday, here's what you will see on TV:
— Live cutins during "SportsCenter" starting at 9 a.m.
— "College GameDay" starting at 10 a.m. RECE DAVIS, DIGGER PHELPS, HUBERT DAVIS and JAY BILAS will be live at the Assembly Hall. Sorry, BOB KNIGHT isn't making this trip.
— Taped segments from Illinois throughout the day on ESPN.
— The second "College GameDay" starting at 7 p.m.
— Illinois-Michigan State game at 8 p.m. with DAN SHULMAN and DICK VITALE at the microphone and ERIN ANDREWS working the sidelines.

Buenos Tardes Bob: This IS TIS/DAVIS number one fan! Did Dick Vitale play any sports in his day? I flipped a quarter 5 times. Heads Illini win, and tails they lose. 3 heads! News Gazette and WDWS are awesome!

I would much rather have Lavin and Obrien announcing then Duke Vitale and Shulman. However, my girl EA will be in the house..momma there go that man!!!
