Jamar: we trusted you

     Bruce Weber told Luther Head he trusted him to do the right thing.

     Luther did.   He is now an NBA player, has a lot of money, has the respect of his former teammates, friends, neighbors, and the Illini nation.

     He had a second chance.   He did not blow it.

     Bruce Weber told Jamar Smith he trusted him to do the right thing.

     Jamar didn't.    We don't know at this point all the details of what happened or what the future holds for Jamar, but we do know this:

     He had a second chance.  He blew it.

     Trust is such a little word.   Just five little letters.

     Violating a trust is SO BIG.   Sometimes it's the biggest thing one can ever do.
