It is a great day for Fighting Illini Baseball.  Today the Illini take on Indiana at Illinois Field.  It is a double header today because the weather is going to turn bad on Sunday.

The Illini fans are out to watch.

Dave Loane and Former Illini Mike Rohde have the call on the Illini Sports Network.

 At the end of 8 the score is Illinois 1 Indiana 0.,

The Illini loaded the bases in the 8th but did not score.

 Indiana gets a hit and a run in top of the ninth to tie the game at 1.

 Great play at the plate to end the inning for the Hoosiers going to the bottom of the ninth it is tied 1-1.

Indiana Scores a solo home run in the top of the 10th and they hold on to win 2-1.

Over at Memorial Stadium the Illinois football team is at practice.

Bob Asmussen and Loren Tate take in the  practice and you can read about it later today on Illinihq.com and in the Sunday News-Gazette.

Back over at baseball it is now thru 5 and the Illini are behind 3-1.
