As of 5 pm yesterday, I was still waiting on the Intermat individual rankings to be released.  They're here, and the biggest surprise to me is John Dergo being unranked at 174 lb.  Dergo placed at Midlands and won a pair of matches this weekend, so is absence is a bit of a head-scratcher.  Elsewhere, Mike Poeta (157) is ranked 2nd behind Edinboro's Gregor Gillespie, Jimmy Kennedy (133) is 3rd, Roger Smith-Bergsrud (165) is 15th, Jordan Blanton (184) is ranked 12th and John Wise (Hwt) is 10th.

On to the rankings from d1collegewrestling.net.  The Illini are ranked 7th in this poll as a team.  These rankings go 25 deep, so a bit more of an Illinois presence here.  True freshman B.J. Futrell checks in at #25 at 125 lb.  Other ranked Illini include Kennedy (4th), Poeta (4th), Smith-Bergsrud (16th), Dergo (9th), Blanton (16th), Patrick Bond (25th at 197) and Wise (10th).
